Split GL chair by Colos is a modern-looking chair that is very much on-trend in the world of furniture. The shell is the same as the Split chair, but this time, the legs are made from wood, while an aluminium frame delivers solidity and ensures the base and upper fit together perfectly.

Split GL’s design is a perfect match for Nordic and Scandi style, especially interiors where the aim is to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The seating has been designed for use in hospitality (such as bars and restaurants) and residential interiors, such as dining rooms and eat-in kitchens.

This seating collection, designed by Francesco Meda, includes several versions, differing in size and the material used for the frame, which comes in a choice of plastic, wood or metal. This chair can also be equipped with a small panel covered in fabric or eco-leather.‎

Split is a two-piece chair.‎ Shell and frame are realized with similar synthetic materials, with a different composition.‎ The shell is softer and more flexible, while legs are more rigid.‎ As a result, the chair is comfortable where comfort is required and strong where trength is required.‎ The use of materials is reduced on purpose, to give the chair a lighter appearance, underlined also by its dynamic traces.‎

Split allows also to customize the solutions available for shell and base, thanks to the different color combinations which can be achieved.‎
