The Piazza chair – part of the collection designed by Jun Yasumoto for Colos – subtly combines traditional shapes with contemporary materials. Inspired by traditional ’20s cafe seating, this four-legged glass-fibre-reinforced polypropylene chair with backrest is ideal for any space with a refined, retro style.

Strong and comfortable, Piazza 1 lends itself to a virtually endless range of applications: from homes to canteens, from cafes to restaurants, from libraries to meeting rooms, there is no limit to the ways this chair can be used. The structure has been designed for stacking: this means it can be neatly and compactly stacked away when not in use. An excellent solution for premises that require flexibility, adding and removing seating to meet changing needs.

Available in seven colours, the one-piece Piazza seat can also be chosen in a version with armrests (PIAZZA 2) and as a high bar stool (PIAZZA 3).‎

At first glance, Piazza appears familiar because it has the pleasant features of an old friend.‎ The coffeehouse chair of the 1920’s served as a model for its balanced and friendly form as well as its high seating comfort.‎ In its versatility it however surpasses its wooden ancestors.‎ Manufactured in one single piece of plastic, it resists to wind and weather.‎ It is available in a subtle colour scheme which matches both old and new.‎ All chairs of this family are stackable.‎

Piazza 1 delicately combines traditional shapes with modern materials. The subtle interpretation of the classic lines that identifies it, combined with its comfort, allows us to see it usable in an almost infinite range of applications: from home to canteen, from coffee to restaurant, from library to meeting room, there is no limit idea of ​​using this seat.

Piazza 1 is the version without armrests of this monocoque seat in polypropylene.
