Modular geometries are studied to give space to the compositional expression.
The Chanel modular lounge – designed by Edi & Paolo Ciani – comes from the idea of making a sectional sofa that allows for a broad personalisation in shapes and finishes thanks to its modularity.

That is the plus which inspired us to develop the individual modules. We chose easily modulable and interchangeable geometries, which would foster creativity in making infinite compositions by simply putting them together differently with the various elements. The final result is an always diverse modular lounge, able to adapt nonchalantly to every type of setting

The collection is composed of soft seating items, with or without backrest, straight elements, hollow or convex; the components serving as small tables can be used as side tables if put alongside the sofa or interspersed with the seating modules to create an interplay of solids and voids, or, also, as coffee tables if placed opposite the sofa.
